How to Draw Massive Traffic With Credit Safelists

graphic of online marketing

If there is any one thing that everyone who works online can agree upon, it’s the fact that you need the traffic to your site to be successful. After all, a website without visitors is like a store without clients. That’s why you can barely go a day without hearing about some new tactics to increase your traffic. You are probably already familiar with many of them, but you may be wondering what a credit safelist is?

What is a Safelist?

Chances are that you are already familiar with email marketing, and you may have heard the expression  “the money is in the list.” A safelist is similar to an email list in that it allows you to send your messages and advertising to a large group of people. All of them have signed up for the same purpose. In essence, everyone on the safelist is sending their ads to everyone else on the list. This can lead to a considerable number of people receiving your ads and to you receiving an even more substantial amount in return.

What Makes a Credit Safelist Different?

One of the problems with early safelists was that you and everyone else would receive such a high volume of email. This was terribly time-consuming to go through it all. To cope with this, so-called “mailbox cleaners” were created to automatically delete messages in your safelist inbox after a certain number of days, or when it was filled to capacity.

You may already see the problem with that.

With so much mail coming to your inbox, your mailbox cleaner would end up deleting dozens or even more messages before you ever even saw them. Also, if you were deleting so many unopened messages, what do you think does this imply? Most likely other people were doing the same thing.

Not surprisingly, safelists began to seem like an exercise in futility. Why spend time creating and mailing ads that would go straight to the recycle bin?

More recently, safelists have begun to make a comeback in the form of credit safelists. A credit safelist differs from a standard safelist in that it virtually guarantees traffic to your site. How?

How Does a Credit Safelist Work?

As implied in the name, a credit safelist works on a credit system. When you receive an email from a credit safelist, it includes a link referred to as a credit link. To send out your own ads, you must click on the credit link and visit the site of the email’s sender, spending a specified amount of time to earn credits. Once you have begun to earn credits, you use them to send emails of your own.

Credit safelists, therefore, guarantee that you will have visitors to your site as the recipients of your ads seek out credits of their own.

Who Benefits From a Credit Safelist?

Credit safelists are a great way to get people to your site. If you use them correctly, they will also add names to your own personal mailing list, but they aren’t an excellent fit for everyone. A problem with safelists is that people who use it are also just trying to earn enough credits. In doing so, their goal is to make enough to able to send messages of their own.

Before getting discouraged, however, keep in mind that these are people looking for traffic. Are you promoting a system that teaches how to grow traffic? Are you offering something that would be useful to other marketers?

If so, credit safelists can absolutely offer you a considerable benefit, putting you in touch with your perfectly-targeted audience.

Closing Thoughts

Credit safelists may not be suitable for everyone’s promotion efforts. However, those who are in the right niche can benefit massively by taking the time to learn the correct way to use them.

5 Essential Components of an Effective Funnel

sales funnel infographic

You’ve found a product on Warrior + or JVZoo and you want to set up a sales funnel. If you haven’t done it before, you may be a little confused or uncertain about the way to proceed. So let’s take a look at the different parts of your funnel and how to put it together.

Now, there is a little bit of variance in how different people handle their funnel. Still, there are essential components that should always be included. We can look at them one by one.

The Lead Magnet/Freebie

Your funnel needs to start by attracting people. One of the easiest ways to get someone’s attention is to offer them something. Typically, you can begin your funnel by giving out some sort of freebie. A popular choice would be an e-book of some sort, or perhaps some video content. Really, though, you can use your imagination and offer anything that you think provides value to your potential customers. Try to keep it in line with the product you are promoting. If your product focuses on how to make money online, you may want to offer an e-book. This e-book will show them how to increase  their site’s traffic.

You can advertise this on social media, with Facebook being a popular choice. When someone sees your ad offering something for free, they can click on it. Then your link will bring them to the first page of your funnel.

This first page should suggest a problem that the reader may be having, and offer a solution (your e-book!) on how to fix it. To continue the example from above, you might suggest that the reader needs more traffic, and then point to your e-book as having the answer to their needs. Explain how it can be of benefit to them and what it will do to help, but keep it vague enough that they will want to know more without already knowing too much. Give an excellent call to action to get them moving in the right direction.

Once you have managed to gain their attention, there are two ways to proceed. Your page could include a capture form, which will let them sign on to your mailing list right away. Another option is that your link leads to another page, with text along the lines of “almost there! Just enter your name and email below so that we know where to send your FREE e-book!” In this case, the second page will have the capture form where they can sign up.

How do you make these forms?

Your capture forms will come from your autoresponder. We use TrafficWave, but whatever you are using, they will give you the code necessary to add the form to your page.

The Tripwire

This may or may not be part of your funnel, and if you are new to building funnels, you may not even be familiar with it.

A tripwire is also known as a loss leader or entry product. It is a low-cost item that is immediately consumable. This means that it will be delivered instantly, or almost so. The purposes it serves are to gauge interest on a product or topic and then turn leads into paying customers, and more.

Email Series

After signing up via your capture form/ page, a visitor to your site is added to your email list on your autoresponder. What will follow then, is a series of emails intended to build a relationship with them. You can use these emails to introduce yourself, offer other free items, tools, and advice, and ultimately to suggest the product you are selling.

People are much more likely to purchase from those that they feel they can trust. Your email series will be all about gaining that trust by legitimately offering them something of value. Give them the help they need, provide free goods that can be of benefit t them, and then you can make suggestions regarding the product you are selling.

The Product

In one of your emails, you can direct the reader to your chosen product. You can do this by either sending them to a review or by sending them to the product’s actual sales page, using your affiliate link. While either may be valid, sending them to a review page will likely help if they have grown to trust you and your opinion.

Products typically come with one or several bonuses, and you can create a new capture page asking buyers where to send these bonuses. By signing up here, you can add them to a second list, which is comprised of known buyers. For this, you will need to create the page and then add the URL to the link details at Warrior+ or JVZoo.

Immediately following a purchase is when someone is most likely to spend again, as they are in the buying mindset. You can avail yourself of this by suggesting your upsells. These are products that build upon or add further value to what they just purchased.

Some people hesitate to do upselling, but there is no reason not to. Provided that you are adding legitimate value for your customer. Given that these offers tend to be more expensive, they can be an essential source of additional income.

Building an excellent working funnel can take lots of work and a bit of refining as you go along. However, making sure that you have each of the necessary parts in place, you will be on your way in no time! How to Build a Sales Funnel?

Need to build a funnel, but unsure of how to do so?

If you are not very familiar with building funnels, this might be a cause for concern. You would need to know all the right steps and necessary parts. So let’s take a look at them to put your mind at ease. We’ll look at the most basic concepts and save the more technical stuff for next time.

What Is a Funnel?

Basically, it is what the name implies; it starts off wide at one end and then gradually narrows, leading to a particular point of your choosing. But how does it start and where does it end?

Anyone who spends time online has come across funnels, even if they didn’t know what they were. Typically, you will see something being offered for free, often an e-book or maybe a video. What happens then when you click on it, you will be redirected to a page asking for your email.

That is the start of your funnel.

Depending on how you want to set it up, this may require one or two pages. If you choose one, you will need to describe the item to give away. Then, you also need to have a field where they can enter a name and email address to learn more. If you choose two pages, it is essentially the same, except for what will happen when the visitor clicks on the link. What happens instead is that they will go to a page that then asks for their details.

How It Works

Once the person has entered their information, they will be directed to the page where they can download the giveaway. You may want to offer a related, inexpensive item for purchase at the same time.

At this point, you have added a name to your list, and what follows is your email content. Now that you have the individual’s email address, you can send them a series of emails that you can use to build a relationship. You can do this by providing more free information, suggesting other items or tools that they might find useful, writing reviews, and more.

After a few emails, you will be sending out information on the product that you are promoting. You can send an email mentioning the product or perhaps a review explaining how it could benefit them. You will want to include a link that takes your reader to a sales page where they can make a purchase.

From here, you can make other offers, often in the form of one time offers that will not be available again. These items may even be priced higher than the item you are promoting.

Closing Thoughts

So, in essence, a funnel will be a page with a capture form to obtain a viewer’s name and email or a link to a capture page. That will add the viewer’s details to your autoresponder, which will then direct them to a download page where they can obtain their free item. A series of emails will follow, providing help and advice, and eventually, an item is offered for purchasing. That offer will lead to a page where the purchase can be made, often accompanied by one time offers.

And there you have it, a funnel that results in a new name for your mailing list, a purchase, and a potential upsell. Once you know the pieces, it’s actually quite simple to put it all together.

Does Building an Email List Still Work?

paper art representing an email

Have you logged in to social media sites today? What information did they ask you to enter besides your password? If your answer was an email address, then there is the answer to the question.

Yes, email lists still work. Social media platforms and even other large companies have built their businesses due to the smart use of email lists.

So what exactly is an email list? Simply put, it is a list of email addresses you have gathered through your website. This list is then used to send out offers or your site’s content via email. So basically, what we are saying is, an email list can be used to market products and services and promote new content.

Building an email list for your own website has several advantages. The bigger the email list you have, the higher the chances of income. To start, all you need is to create a contact form for your WordPress site. Friendly tip, do not buy email lists. Most of the time, you ould not get what you paid for. Often times, these email addresses are fake or people who aren’t even remotely interested in your product.

Here are some of the reasons why you should build an email list for your website:

Get Your Message to Your Customers

laptop with gmail opened

Anyone who has access to the internet most likely has an email address. According to the 2020 data, there are more than 4 billion people who are active internet users. Most people check their emails at least once a day. Email lists work both ways, in a sense that when you have a promotional offer, subscribers are the first to know.

As opposed to social media, wherein people could miss your posts and other marketing efforts, an email is a surefire way to reach your clients.

Multiplies Your Marketing Efforts

Despite email marketing being a better way to gain customers compared to social media, it must not be totally ignored. By building your social media strategy, you can use a cross-platform approach to grow your email list. You can also use ads and Facebook engagements to develop your email list. Simply add a call to action at the end of your post and then drop a link that will lead them to your landing page.

Emails are also an excellent way to gain customers, as you are not dependent on the algorithms of search engines and social media sites. How and when people see your content is dictated by you and your email marketing efforts alone.

Give People a Reason to Return

In most cases, people who viewed your website are unlikely to return. This can be easily checked on the analytics page for your website. Visitors are essential and this is why you must do everything you can to make them enjoy their first encounter with your web page. Keeping customers is critical to a successful business.

People are most likely to return if you sent them a message containing valuable information or a free product such as an e-book or a video. Also, people who subscribe to your content is what is considered a hot lead. A hot lead is someone who is showing good interest in buying your product.

Emails are Personal

customer opening his email

Emails are a direct and personal way to get in contact with the customers. Consumers like it when you address them by their name. Personalization of emails can be done through the use of email marketing services like Drip. The act of receiving an email alone is personal. Not everyone would have access to these content unless they subscribed to your mailing list. People treat emails like a one-on-one conversation.

Emails show that you care and want feedback from your clients. An email list can be used as a tool to build trust and ensure loyalty between you and the customers. Reading an email in one’s own personal time is an excellent way to communicate. It is a better way to send a message as opposed to billboards and social media posts.

An email list can be your own powerful tool. It is a smart way to increase engagement for your online business. You can make people keep coming back to your website. Though, it is never about the email list alone. What matters is how you use the email list you built towards gaining more income.
